SUSU’s unique student counselling service, Peer Support are looking for more student volunteers.

Since setting up a year ago, Peer Support has gone from strength to strength and are now ready to train 12 more volunteers with all the necessary skills to support and listen to their peers.

Peer Support is a confidential listening service delivered by students for students. It provides you with a platform to voice absolutely any problems you might be facing – no matter how big or small. All SUSU peer supporters have received extensive training and will listen to you without judging.

All Peer Support volunteers will be trained by a qualified professional and will receive fortnightly supervision to ensure they are properly supported.

If you’re interested in finding out more about the role then check out the Peer Support Scheme Role Description and if you think it could be for you then simply fill in the Application Form and send to peersupport@susu.org.

Spaces are limited to 12 so the Peer Support team will be shortlisting applicants and inviting them to attend group interviews during October.
