Celebrating International Women’s Day with Inspiring Women talks
We’re celebrating International Women’s Day on Wednesday by hearing from some inspiring women who have excelled in their chosen industries.
Join us at The Bridge from 19:30 tomorrow night (Wednesday 08 March) to listen to:

MMA Fighter, Nurse, Mother and MMA coach at the Unions’ MMA society, this woman is a relentless hard worker. Constantly pushing to achieve more, her interesting and contrasting life has been covered by The Telegraph, earning her recognition as a role model for young MMA and sportswomen in Southampton and across the UK.
Capital FM Presenter and Surge Radio alumna. Starting her career in the studios here at the Union, Emma took her passion to the next level, working her way up to become the presenter at Capital FM South Coast’s breakfast show. Returning for our Creative Industries Careers Sessions last year and to turn on the Christmas Lights at the Union last November, Emma is still very much in touch with her roots here in Southampton.
